Please read the Overview if you are not familiar with the vision and mission of the TIGER program or visit the website at http://www.tigersummit.com.
The Education & Faculty Development Collaborative Team was formed to identify innovative academic educational programs that are preparing the nursing work force to better use technology and information systems to provide safer, more effective, more efficient, and patient-centered care.
The NLN recently released a critical position statement accelerating the TIGER mission "in support for reform of nursing education to promote quality education that prepares a workforce capable of practicing in a healthcare environment where technology continues to increase in amount and sophistication." We encourage you to disseminate this critical document to your colleagues.
